| IL-17F

Interleukin 17F (IL-17F) is signaling protein encoded by the IL17F gene and is considered a pro-inflammatory cytokine. This protein belongs to the interleukin 17 family and is mainly produced by the T helper 17 cells after their stimulation with interleukin 23. However, IL-17F can be also produced by a wide range of cell types, including innate immune cells and epithelial cells. The IL17F gene is located on chromosome 6p12. This cytokine can be secreted as disulfide-linked homodimer or heterodimer.

The recovery of Human IL-17F spiked at three different levels in samples throughout the range of the assay was evaluated in various matrices.

| Linearity

Samples were spiked with high concentrations of Human IL-17F and diluted with Universal Diluent to produce samples with values within the range of the assay.
